The owners of Langdon Court in Devon are Robert Walton MBE and Donna Ida Thornton. Robert Walton MBE is President of the Restaurant Association, Chairman of World Young Chef Young Waiter and a GREAT Campaign ambassador. Donna Ida Thornton is the owner of designer denim brand Donna Ida which stocks premium jeans and jumpsuits.

When will Langdon Court manor house be open?

Langdon Court is currently being renovated and will start to re-open from Spring 2023 with a select number of weddings and events.

Can I get married at Langdon Court?

Yes, weddings are available to book from 2023 and beyond. Every year in July we set up a marquee for the whole month within the grounds to hold a select number of weddings.
July is currently the only month available for weddings so that we can continue to restore the property throughout the rest of the year. Contact us for more information.

Can I stay at Langdon Court in Devon?

Yes you can stay at Langdon Court if you are hiring the house.

Langdon Court is a Grade II listed building which is being respectfully restored in a project we expect to take several years.

Therefore Langdon Court so is not operating as a hotel at this present time. Instead it is available to hire as the whole house.

No, at present the property is only available for private hire and events.

What are your plans for the future?

At the moment we’re working to restore Langdon Court. We have planned several stages of renovations over the coming years so there will be periods where the property is not open for hire.

Langdon Court is a great place to visit with your canine friends. Surrounded by gardens and the gorgeous natural beauty on our doorstep there is plenty of big outdoors to explore. To ensure that we have everything just right please do let us know in advance if you will be bringing any dogs.
